Home Buyer Tax Credit: New IRS Form Released – Form 5405

Taxpayers who claim the Homebuyer Tax Credit on their 2009 return must submit a paper return due to the additional documentation that must be included. Recently released Form 5405, First-Time Homebuyer Credit and Repayment of the Credit must be attached to the return along with one of following as noted by the Internal Revenue Service.
